The dishes prepared for an Onasadhya are served on a banana leaf, a custom that dates back thousands of years. When hot food is placed on the banana leaf, the waxy coating melts into the food adding flavor and aroma. The banana leaves are washed in water and are 100% natural and eco-friendly. It serves as the best option for a vast menu of over 20 dishes. Each dish is served in a certain order and on specific places on the banana leaf as shown in the picture below.
